Hello! My name is Mia, I’m an electrical engineer living in Somerville, MA. I use this blog as a place to write about technical (and occasionally non!) projects I’ve done on the side throughout the years. I especially enjoy mashing up new and old tech, like porting a Mastodon client to a 40 year old E-mail standard, or giving a rotary phone cellular capabilities.

In my professional life, I am a full-stack embedded engineer. I have worked in a wide variety of fields, doing everything from UIs for industrial X-ray scanners, to writing battery drivers for home solar devices. If you’d like to learn more about my work history, have a resume!
